Rodger, i posted this in general reefing and reposted for anyone interested: just took the Stream and wire-tied (4 wireties for insurance) it to an old Magnavore magnet to use as a mount vs. the factory mount and it seems to be working fine and the magnet does not interfere with the Streams magnet or electronics. The magnet holder makes it easy to adjust the flow especially since the Stream also pivots laterally on a ratchet for aiming back-to-front plus its easy to move it to clean the glass..They don't come with a mount for an AGA tank so i had to improvise one. Initial impression is the Streams are totally awesome and create alot of flow that is way more dispersed than a powerhead or my Seaswirls on a loop although the oscillating Sswirls do randomise? the current if thats your desired affect.. The flow is of course very directional until it actually bounces off the far side of the 48 inch tank and flows back towards the pump- thats amazing.. Its like the flow you find when diving on a real reef with flow going back and forth but more in the same plane.. My sandbed is fine Southdown but is very well established and the Stream has not kicked up any sand yet even on high (smaller 6000 stream) and if you aim the flow at the rockwork it helps to further diffuse the flow to minimize the blast. Definately the way of the future for water movement efficiency if they hold up over time.
