National Weather Service just issued an Ice Storm Warning and droped the Winter Storm Watch. Sounds promising! :D

I hope so! I have to drive to SW missouri tonight to finish a job I have going there. Nothing like 5 hours of driving on ice.

AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS MISSOURI AND
ILLINOIS THIS AFTERNOON...CHANGING RAIN TO FREEZING RAIN AS
TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE 20S. A SERIES OF STORM SYSTEMS WILL
MOVE ACROSS MISSOURI AND ILLINOIS THIS WEEKEND...CAUSING AN
EXTENDED PERIOD OF WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION. THE TEMPERATURE
PROFILE IN THE ATMOSPHERE WILL FAVOR FREEZING RAIN THAT WILL
PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS DURING THE WEEKEND.

not good!

SCBADIVER

I have riden with you before. Park the hot rod, get a horse and buggy, and let your lady drive. We all will be a lot safer.

How long you figure that trip will take with a horse and buggy and ice? 7-10 days or so? I'll be glad to let her drive then I can enjoy the cold beverage of my choice and who cares about the weather. Smart-smack!

I've got a bad feeling about this one. I think about 1/2 of Maryland Heights got power knocked out in the past 2 storms, and my street didn't either time. I feel like it's my turn.

One of these days I better buy a generator.

I'm supposed to get about 1" of ice + some snow. My power lines are buried so I'm REALLY hoping that I don't get knocked out of power...I'm not going to be happy without electricity and my corals won't be either!

So much for going to the grocery store tonight... I'm sure the places will be packed and out of stock for the next 3-4 days.

I happened to have picked up an extra loaf of bread, a dozen eggs and a gallon of milk Lonnie.

It's all yours for $45.00. I'm not making a penny!:D
