Kharn
MANTISMAN
G'day all
The reason why I say 'hopeful' is because I do NOT have this stomatopod within my possession rite now (soon though) down payment has been made on the critter (in order to seal the deal) but I have asked them to temporarily store it for a couple of days, until I can get a really heavy duty temporary storage container for it (I know a fish store a few hours away that has something that should be perfect for this).
Anyway, it was going to be an inevitable fact that I eventually got one of these for my large multi mantis systems, its a Odontodactylus scyllarus (The Peacock) and it will be going in the middle tank on STAND B (its a large tank plenty of room for the stomatopod 900mmLx300mmWx300mmH) the creature itself is stated at being around 100mm long.
Here is a pic of it.
As I said I just hope transport and everything goes all good being a slightly touchy species...
More to come as I get info/details.
