I was thinking about buying a kalk reactor a few days ago and saw my Mag 220...then I thought it could work as a kalk reactor w/ a few simple mods. I haven't tried it yet. I am soaking the center PVC in water/bleach solution cause it was dirty. The water will draw down from the center and pushes through the left black tube up above and back down through the clear hose.

What do you guys think? Gonna work good?

hmm, i agree. looks like it might work well, you may have to make the pipe in the center a lil higher, and of course youll pobablly have to clean the impeller often, one thing you might want to do is change the plumbing between the intake and return to the 220, the way you have it recirculating is restrictive, also you might want to but a ball valve on there, they make them for flex hose, there only a couple buck, that way you could control the flow inside the reactor very well.
