Hose advice

Hello folks,

I've been using this clear hose to pump water out of my tank for WC, about 75Ft long.

Thing is that it kinks A LOT and it has become a royal PITA taking many times longer to do what it used to do the first few times. It will not recover its original shape anymore.

I was checking other threads for recommendations but didn't find a clear winner. Do you have any specific you use that is reef safe?

I just use 1/2 vinyl tubing that lowes had on a big roll. It hold it's shape(coiled up), and doesn't kink. Has worked well for 2 years for me so far.

I use the tubing with the braided reinforcement. I think it's PVC. More expensive, but it can't kink.

Drinking water hose/camper water hose is excellent..Just replace the metal ends with plastic ones just to be safe..

That or the thicker walled vinyl or reinforced vinyl tube as suggested..

I use a thing called a python.
I bought it 25 years ago, still works great, never kinks at all.
I think it was $50 bucks CDN, so in the US, should be cheaper.
Quality product.

This. I bought a python siphon over 30 years ago, bought a 25' extension a couple years later and still use the both for every day after change.
