HOTB Fuges?

You can build your own fuge is you don't like spending the money on the CPR Aquafuge. Just go over to www.GARF.org and get the dimensions you need for the size you want. For example I calculated a tank for a 13x4.5x12" fuge (same as the cpr unit).
The cut dimensions:
(1) 13" x 4 1/2" Bottom
(2) 13" x 11 3/4" Front & Back
(2) 11 3/4" x 4" Sides
(2) 4" x 2" Center Brace & Outlet
(1) 4" x 4" Inlet
(1) 4 x 3" Outlet
Take that cut list to a glass/acrylic shop, they will cut them correctly and may even drill the holes you need for the inlets/outlets. The only thing to consider is the bracing for mounting on the back of the tank. I haven't done mine yet, but considered it a while back. If you can get a good look at a cpr aquafuge, you can probably take some measurements and get a good idea how low/high to cut the inlet/outlet holes. That is all that I am waiting for. Good Luck.

Really don't want to do anything diy. I'm thinking I will just try my luck with my LR rubble, and replacing my bio balls with all rubble over time. If it comes down to it I may go the hotb fuge route, but it just doesn't seem to be worth the hassle just yet. Thanks for everybodys input!
