Houdini ich parasite

okay, last night i could have sworn that all of a sudden my blue hippo tang came down with ich.. it happened out of nowhere. i looked at the fish 4 hours previous to my noticing and i didn't see anything on it. this morning i looked at the hippo and there were no signs of ich... whats going on here? did they fall off? is the fish still considered sick?

Could have been sand stuck to his skin. Especially if you have sugar sand and an animal that likes to throw it around everywhere.

ya i do have really small sand particles... ive never had ich on any of my fish and ive been in the hobby for almost 2 years. so, im wondering if that happens that fish get it then it falls off the next day??
