can i have different types of wrasse in my tank or will they fight unless i put them all in at the same time; same with other fishes..

deppends on what kind of wrasses. I have 4 diffrent types in my tanks and they all get along. I do know that 6-8line wrasses are notoris for being bullies. What kind where you planning on having in there.

my sixline wrasse is a wussie. Very peacful but sometime I feel my inverts scare it.

I have a mystery wrasse and a six line as well. The mystery wrasse picked on the six line for a few days, but now
leaves him alone..

Add the wrasses to the tank last, less likely to be aggressive to the other fish.

SurfOnH20: does the mystery wrasse pick on anything else? snails/hermits?

Hey Bennyinca ! Its funny you asked that. Since I added my mystery a few weeks ago, I have been finding more then the usual empty shells from the hermits and snails. Dang that makes sense since you brought that up. Do you have a mystery wrasse as well ?

Hey SurfOnH20, I have a mystery but he's been in QT since I got him. I recently put some hermits and ceriths in there so see what happens. So far so good, I try to feed the QT quite a bit too.

Good idea. I hate to say it. The mystery is my favorite fish. A little shy at first, but now he is all over the tank.

I've got a red corris, Lepoard, carpenters flasher and another that I can't remember the name of (has a yellow triangle behind his head) all in my 400. They were added in a different times and they have never bothered each other or any other fish.

I have also had 6 lines before in different tanks and they never bothered anything. I have seen 6 lines in the wild while snorkling off the coast of Pago Pago. There were a ton of them swimming in and out of the coral heads. Looked really cool.
