I have G3's; One pro and one normal. I'm considering upgrading around x-mas and was wondering how they are working out for those who have them. The BRS reviews don't seem great ATM so I'm sort of hesitant.
How are the G4's working for you?

The first reviewer seemed angry about the lack of upgrade for the G3 and the second had a bad batch.
I installed two G4 Pros this week and they are pretty amazing. These are my first Radions and they were an upgrade from T5, so I don't have much to compare against, but they do not have the loud fan noise or disco ball effect that I have seen with older Radions. So far, so good!

I just recently replaced a G3 Pro with a G4 Pro over my small tank to test the waters.
The spread is better and while it is still in acclimation mode the corals have been responding nicely.
I won't get into the debate on the ability to upgrade. I wouldn't worry about getting a bad light, as Ecotech stands behind their products.
The G3 Pro is still and excellent light. (I may have three more to sell in the near future - :hmm4:)
If your are ever in the O Fallon, MO area - feel free to stop by and have a look.
