How big do Carpet Anemones get

they can get feet (3+) across. The biggest you usually hear of them getting in people's tanks are about 24 inches probably.

LFS just had a customer drop one off at the store,was only there for about 2 hrs and was almost 3'.Said it got too big for the tank...go figure.

What store is it in? The only carpet that gets that big is mertensii and I've been looking for a long time.

I personally have only kept Haddonis, my largest one is currently 15"+ across, and sure that if I feed it more then once a month or so it would be a lot bigger.

Over a year ago I saw one at an LFS that was at least 2 feet across.

Yea,The biggest one I saw was pushing a little over 2'.I was going to buy it but I knew that the store wouldnt have a anemone as nice as this one just sitting around for no reason...Turns out that anemone ate a baby Lion Fish!They only wanted $75 for it but no not after it ate a Lion Fish..Its stomch was as hard as as rock!...lol
