How big of TEMP do swings do YOU get?

Personally i dont believe temp swings are a major factor in SPS care. Unless you are hitting 85+ for an extended period of time.

If you have ever been diving the temperature can change 10+ degrees within a matter of seconds.

yea I agree, I was misinformed when first got into this hobby I guess so always put my effort to make it as stable as possible, I dont think it can do any bad things, but probably nothing good as well.
 
78-82 no chiller, inside a/c set at 78.

Somewhere I read that many of the corals come from 80-82 waters and coral grows a little faster in warmer waters, but at 86 many corals start to bleach.
