How can I tell if my anemone is happy

I just bought a red carpet anemone and he looks awesome but I was wondering if a closed mouth or a open mouth is better. Thanks for the help

You got your new red carpet in today? Congrats! I followed your other post about it. Have you already acclimated it? Show us some pics?!

Oh - and closed mouth is best - but it maybe open on and off for the first day or two while acclimating - but overall you want a nice tightly closed mouth.

Closed is better, but carpets, especially big haddoni seem to have open mouth frequently. I don't knowif this is related to hunger/feeding response.

Thanks E.J. Coral for the info, I've never owned a haddoni so I dont know what the big ones mouth look like. I know I have plenty of light for it though as that wont be a issue.
