I was wondering how deep from the surface I should mount the vortech in a 30" deep tank. I seem to have detritus in the water column constantly and am thinking that the pump may have something to do with it.
Right now I have it mounted half way down. The tank is a 130 gal quarter cylinder and I cannot find the right spot for this pump as it causes sandstorms because of the curvature of the front panel. I plan on adding another pump but cannot get the position of just this one right. Can you please advise...
