How do I control diatoms?

That is either worst diatom explosion is what appears to be an establish tank or something a whole lot worse

If you brush through the sand, does it pretty blow around the tank in a billion little specs or does it pretty much stay stuck in gelatinous mass to the rocks?

I'm sorry didn't mean to ignore your post I saw it just forgot to answer those questions

There are no bubbles on it and it stays the same size at night vs day.

It does break apart and can be siphon or sucked out when I do a water change, though not easily since its to heavy to be sucked up quickly plus sand gets caught up too!!

I may have figured out where/ how dirty water is getting in. I made my water today in the container I always use for rodi water, took my TDS to the water and its reading out at 375ppm. So between my last few changes the container got wayyyy to dirty some how. Got water made in new container and tds say 2ppm
