I have 2 false clowns and ive been trying to get them addapted to an anemone I have a bubble tip and i just recently added a carpet and they have to intrest in it at all. any suggestions?
How do i get my clowns interested in the anemone?

My clown is a saddleback ( not tank raised). He took to the long tentacle the first day. I've heard from many people, that tank raised clowns are very unpedictable that way. Sadly they may never take to an anemone. One fellow I talked to had a tank raised for 3 yrs who never took. Your best bet, if you have your heart set on a clown/anemone pairing is to buy the set when you see them together in the store, or maybe get one that is not tank raised. Patience is a virtue, though.

i had a pair of wild caught clowns ( ocellaris ) that never hosted an anemone they hosted a maxijet so even wild caught its still 50/50

i had a maxijet power head in the tank a maxijet 1200 to be exact and i had a carpet and a bta in the tank and the clows were wildcaught and never once looked at the anemones went to where the powerhead was located and hosted it for the 2 years i had them

My black saddle back hosted a open brain instead of my RBTA for months before it took to the BTA. It hosted when I had to do a large water change and move my rocks around and added some more rocks. I was working to rearrange the rocks when I saw something black in the rbta. Maybe it's defensive instinct kicked in when it felt threatened.
