How do I make my Flagfin eat like a pig?

I have had a yellow flagfin for about 6 weeks now. I have gotten him to eat mysis, spectrum pellets and frozen forumula one. he eats very small portions sometimes only 2 or 3 pellets. I tried offering him the frozen angel formula w/ sponges but he is not interested in that. I feed him several times a day, but I am worried he is not getting enough to eat to make him flourish.

Does anyone else have experience with flagfins? Any ideas on how to get eat more?

What type of tank, parameters, fish, etc. do you have? Flagfins are notorious for not being good eaters and prefer really good water quality and not being harassed when first introduced to an aquarium environment. Mysis, spectrum pellets, brine and spirulina or veggie flakes is what most of mine eat. Several small feedings per day is much better than a couple of large feedings. Was the fish in good health when you purchased it or was it thin?
