How do I relocate newly split RBTA?

Looks like YOU are the one who needs to find out how to move them!

The stores sell them here for about $85 each when they can get them, so even at 1/2 of that you have a few thousand bucks worth on anemones to trade or sell.

There are a number of ways to get anemones to move and/or remove them from the tank. That's not much of a challenge anymore.

What I'd like to figure out is:

1) how to make the bubble tips come and go
2) how to get them to sexually reproduce in captivity

still working on those things. Mine are girls, by the way, all clones of one original (see the eggs?):

It's a challenge for me. Two weeks now of covering my smaller anemone with rock to shade out the light and coax it to move, but it does not budge.
It just extends as far as needed to get around the rocks and find light. Each time I block it's way, it just bends around the next rock.
As I said before, the base is in a hole with the other clone, so I cant point a powerhead at it or try to scrape it off.

This poor guy... why do people keep telling him not to move it when he asks "how do I move it?" He didn't say "should I move it?". What if he wanted to sell it or put it in another tank, or quit reef keeping? Shouldn't he be able to move it if he wants to?

Sure, anemones can and will move wherever the want to. However, they really don't want to move at all if they don't have to. They want to find a nice place and stay put. Just as in this case. They don't want to move! I thinkhe knows by noe he has 3 options. Leave it alone, force it to move, or make it want to move.

Sounds like quite a pickle.
Ice and PH are the only 2 safe ways I know, besides carefully lifting if you can do w/ out tearing such as on glass.
No way to rig like a coathanger or something, maybe freeze a piece of ice onto a bendable something that will reach(and of course not stick it or tear it w/ this bendable whatever)
Personally, if it were me, I'd probably just buy another BTA and stick that one where you want it.
But it is true what everyone says, they do have a mind of their own, and go where they want.
Chances are those will move...someday.
