How do you feed chalice when shrimp steals food???

So every time I spot feed my bubblegum chalice, my shrimp take the food right out of its mouth. (Literally) My idea is to cut the top off of a 2 liter bottle, poke holes in it, cover the chalice, and pump food into it. Does anyone already do this? Any pictures would help me out. The chalice only has 3 eyes and is about an Inch big.

Shrimp are evil and opportunistic. Give him a time-out in the sump with the crabs. But seriously, a 16oz or 2 liter plastic bottle works great for small, slow feeders. Just be sure to turn down the flow so you don't have to stand there holding the bottle.

I got rid of my shrimp because the chalice was suffering from the shrimp digging into its mouth for the food.

I use a clear glass cup on place it gently over the coral, this also allows water currents to not mess with teh food.

feed the shrimp first. give it something to gnaw on while your feeding the chalice, it won't notice your feeding the chalice. Sinking algae pellets worked well for me, its like an all day sucker.

Bastard shrimp still some how eat the food right from my challis and Acans. I'm about fed up with them!!!

I drilled a hole in a plastic shot glass covered the chalice with it and fed cyclopzees into hole at bottom of **** glass and removed it when he was done eating works everytime
Chalice is always happy
