How do you get rid of yellow polyps?

Do you guys have any suggestion on how to get rid of yellow polyps on a rock inside the tank without removing the rock?

Scrub them off with a toothbrush and syphon them out.

In the begining of my reefing days, I wasnt ever able to keep yellow polyps with peppermint shrimp in my tank.

put an anemone face down on them? maybe get some big ol mushroom or yuma that may sting them... though yellow polyps are usually stronger stinging than any other coral.

I don't have anemone but I got a xlarge yuma. I might try this yuma vs yellow polyps war suggestion first cause that is what available right now.

At the same time I'll start looking for peppermint shrimp.

perry, i know all about fish currently has hundreds of peppermints, though I think you live in San Jose (near alvin?) but it probably means a lot of the other LFS's are getting a lot now too. Let me know if they work out for you, I may need some too =P

I find that hammer coral or fragospawn can usually wipe out whatever coral you want gone.

You're right about the frogspawn. Infact one of my neon yuma melted last night cause it was too close to my frogspawn. I could probable move that frogspawn next to those yellow polyps.

Thanks guys.
