How do you guys keep PO4s down in nano tanks?

I have 34 gallon Solana, and I can not get my PO4s down. At this time they are at .07ppm. I don't have room for another pump to run GFO reactor. For filtration, I have Chemi pure elite and PURA PhosLock GFO in filter sock. Which helped me to get my PO4s down from .14ppm to .07ppm. but they will not go down anymore even after change the GFO. I feed every other day, use RO/DI water. Water changes are done every week. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you're doing all you can. Perhaps feed less and be careful of feed too much dry foods as those have phosphate in them.

There are some flake foods with low Phosphate. It also helps a bit to rinse any frozen food first before feeding.

I have never had anything but '0' Phosphate (Salifert kit, LFS) in my 12g over the last 4+ years, even with (2) properly fed fish in the tank. I don't use any filter media. I attribute this to 10%/wk water changes (RO water/quality salt), moderate food inputs and weekly removal of detritus (sand bed vacuuming).

I'd try to figure out a way to run a GFO reactor, it should help a lot and only requires a very small pump so you should be able to squeeze it in somewhere.

Carbon dosing is also an option assuming that you have an oversized skimmer for your tank.

In my 29 I couldn't get mine below .05 (lowest) and .07 (highest). I rinsed my frozen mysis, I use chemi pure elite (not just chemi pure), purigen, poly floss, weekly 5 gal water changes, a slightly better than stock skimmer and that was a low as I could get it, I also had a lingering issue with a few small spots of cyano. That all changed when I stopped buying my RO from the LFS. Bought my own 5 stage and now its .02 (lowest) .03 (highest). I also just added a better skimmer aquamaxx hob-1 so I hope that finishes it off. But I'm pretty sure I read in a magazine somewhere that this guy found the best coral growth with a .05 to .08 PO4 range, I'm not that brave.

I have a 29g biocube and my P04s have always been at 0 since removing my skimmer, and I'm a heavy feeder. I attribute this to plenty of live rock and my upgrades. I was running a skimmer initially, but removed it in favor of the In Tank media basket & fuge. I use ChemiPure Elite and Purigen along with filter floss in the media basket, and I have chaeto + LR rubble in the fuge basket.
