How does my LTA look after 4 days in DT?

I just got my LTA on Saturday. Still hasn't moved an inch from where I placed it in the tank. The mouth is slightly opened in this picture. I have seen the mouth closed but sometimes it opens a little. All the tentacles are still very sticky.

Also, I noticed a dark brown ball of discharge floating around the mouth. I carefully pushed it away and took it out of the tank. What is this?

Overall, is it in good shape?

IMO,looks to be doing good,however has just a tiny bit more setteling in to do!

Is it normal for the LTA to close up at night into a ball? Last night and now tonight when the lights go off and the moon lights go on she closes up into a ball after about 30 minutes. Is this norman behavior?

It's probably settling in still. I wouldn't worry too much about it inflating and deflating too much. Do you know how much your pH fluctuates in that 30 minutes?

I have seen my LTA ball up after lights out quite a few times.

Yep, pretty common to ball up at night, or when startled.
Mine would go from this

And occasionally would disappear completely in the sand bed.

Is this the beginning of the end? I noticed some more black/brown discharge coming out of the mouth of the LTA. After that I noticed almost a white brain like substance protruding out of the mouth. In the picture you can see the white brain like substance.
