How does S. Haddoni reproduce.

I believe the reproduce by releasing sperm and eggs in the water. I think I may of heard of one splitting. Do a search on this forum

Splitting has occurred, but the primary means of reproduction of S. haddoni (at least in captivity) is sexual by nature.

I was under the impression that you would need two a male and a female, when it comes to S. Haddoni. The one I have is eating very well at least 1 whole shrimp every 3 days. My concern is that with it being 12" across that there is a possibilty that it would split soon. Not that would be a bad thing, just that in a 120 might not be a whole lot of space. If splitting is a possibility any ideas on what size it would reach, or any tell tell signs? Thanks

Splitting is a rarity, not really the rule. Chances are, it will probably never happen on your individual (no matter what size it reaches, which can be a bit over 30").
