How high up can I place sps with this lighting?

I have a 40b tank that is 15" to the water line. My lighting consists of 2x 250watt 14k metal halides w/ 4x 39watt true actinic t5's. My lights are 15" above the waterline. I do not have access to a par meter, just trying to get a rough estimate as to how high in the tank I can place my sps.

Thats a lot of light. I would start anything on the bottom off to the side and watch it. You can always move it up over time .

Yup. taking it slow moving them up.

Take it slow and keep an eye out for a bleaching
