how long before war?

about 8 months ago one of my black & white ocellaris went carpet surfing. I have always wanted a maroon clown so I added one to replace the surviving b&w. couldn't part with the tanks oldest resident so I decided to wait till there was aggression. 8 months later they seem to get along fine and even swim together. last week the maroon found it's "nem", my white sinularia. not to be out done, a few days later the b&w decided it needed his own so it took over the yellow Fiji. how long do you think this will last til I have to catch the b&w? tank is 120 gal. (48x24x24).

Hard to say, there may come a point where the maroon matures and decides to become more territorial but I don't think anyone can predict anything as to when and what the outcome may be.
It's a risky addition, not something I personally would do, you could just come home one day and see a dead clown, basically what happened to me many years ago when I did something similar, think it lasted a year.

A little off topic, but has anyone ever successfully bred a Darwin and a Maroon? Something like a mocha blood orange?
