how long do you use a bulb over your aquarium?

Ok so as long as you guys are on the subject. i just got a great deal on a double 175W fixture with 2 10K bulbs in it. I have no idea how old they are but the guy told me he didn't think they had been used much.
Are these good bulbs to use? Or should I get some other temp? This is for my new build I have no idea yet what I'm gonna put in it Probably I little bit of everything tho Its certainly going to be big enough lol And I've never used MH before either. I'm going to run T5 or LED actinics in addition to whatever MH I'm using as well

What make 10k bulbs? There is no industry standard. I recommend replacing them ASAP and starting with a known source.

Unless there is something printed on the bulb then I have no idea.
Ok then someone tell the name(s) of some good 175W bulbs pls?
