how long does it take for crocea to attach to rock

I just bought my first clam a crocea about 2 weeks ago the first couple of days i had it on the sand and have decided to put it up on the rocks but i keep finding it fallen over. how long does it take for the foot to attach itself to the rock?

depens on it size bigger ones take a little longer they depend on thier wait in the wild to keep them still and little ones within a few days. but still croceas attach fast they have the largest foot of all clams!

thanks quicksilverq i guess i'll just have to keep picking it up as it falls over. yesterday when i got home from work i thought maybe it finally attached but then this morning it was on the sand bed.
