After my nem had split, obviously they aren't ready to eat. In the meantime I have been using Essential Trace Elements to supplement for now.

But how long til I should Target feed?

Also what is the typical time period for them heal?

I'm assuming you had a BTA split, is that correct? If so, you could feed small pieces of food (size of a pea) after a week.

I do not feed mine at all. I find that they grow very fast when I feed them. They still grow with just good lighting just not as fast.

yes after the split. the clone hasnt got a fully formed mouth, not the mother nem. as it split perfectly ( like a piece of pie)

Just currious, they don't even accept it, and lately they are kinda deflated.

I RARELY feed my nems. I have four RBTA's and two GBTA's. Nobody feeds these things in the wild.

Actually someone does. the clowns. Just Sayin

My maroons feed the nems, I drop some krill in and the maroons will pick a few pieces and they bring it to their nems.

once two now three.

I was simply asking when I should add krill read to wait a week some up to a month.

???

Just reiterating that clown anemones can grow from larval state to adulthood with no supplemental feeding whatsoever.

Supplemental feeding accelerates growth, and may have an impact on sexual and asexual reproduction, but it is not required to keep healthy individuals - assuming healthy tank conditions are present.

Not all nems have clowns. In fact, most don't.
