How low in tank can I put SPS?

I have been putting my SPS as high in my tank as the aquascaping will allow. I am wondering how low of a placement I can get away with. The tank is 125 gallon 72x18x22". I use a 60" ATI Sunpower with 6x80 watt bulbs. The bulbs are 3x ATI Blue+, 2x ATI Aqua Blue Special and 1 ATI Purple Plus. The fixture is 5" above the tank. Coral's are mostly montipora and some acropora.

Thanks

I think most of them would do fine within 3-4" of the bottom.

I have numerous acros fairly low in my 24" deep tank under 7x54w T5.

There are a few exceptions where some acros need higher light to get their optimal color.

I have a 200DD that's 27" deep, lit with 10X54 T5HO, Tek5 fixtures. I can grow most SPS on the sand bed. Your fixture puts out a higher PAR than mine. Realistically, you should be able to grow a lot of SPS as low as you want.
