How many clams in your system?

I know some folks go a bit 'clam crazy'. How many clams do you have in your system and lets see some pics?

I have two... a 15" Squammie and a 2.5" Derasa.
Adding two more tomorrow. Two T-Max's...

What kind of lighting are you using

Want a deep blue clam in my tank! Some are SO sensitive to light though. Have to make sure I have plenty!

two reefbreeders style LEDS, 32". You can get the exact same LED off ebay for about 30% less money... each has 99 x 300W LEDS....

I've got a medium sized one that's vibrant blue.

I have it under LED's and 5 hrs of MH.

Only a couple at the moment, a 14" squamosa and a 10" deresa. Had a lot in the past, particularly in one system where I employed a clam scrubber. A dedicated, predator free tank with as many as ten clams at its peak, including specimens from all five of the common species.

Afraid not. Was a tank I ran from 1992-95. Wasn't much of a photographer then (nor now either :lol. That tank was almost completely DIY top-to-bottom and I regret no photographic record. C'est la vie!

I have kept many larger clams in the past .. Right now I have 9 to 10" blue sauammie

Wow that's such a beautiful blue! What size was it when you bought it? How long have you been growing that beast?

Really wasnt too much into clams till a saw a squamosa a guy had on consignment at the local store and it was close to 14 inches he had 6 years grew it from a little guy and was getting too big for his tank so I picked it up.. He had it under t5's and I have kessils and t5's and so far so good.. When they get big they are show piece in itself..

Got two 6'' squamosas in my 75.They were about 1.5'' long when I got them.
