Is the LIFTGATE and RESIDENTIAL delivery fee going to be worth a pallet/skid of it?? Even if you unload it yourself, have you looked into the fee's of an LTL carrier bringing something like that to your house?? You don't really think they'll send an O.T.R unit to your house for 1 skid. I hope for your sake you have a DOCK high company you can have it delivered to. I thought about doing that too. I could just have my company pick it up and leave it at my TERM. and then load it in my pick up truck. But I don't think I need nor want a skid of salt around my house either.
