I have a 120 gallon tank. 4' Long, 2' wide and I believe 2' tall. I was wondering how many I should buy and where I should put them?

Hello,
For this tank I would recommend two MP40w pumps, placed one on each end. I would place one roughly 4" down and 8" from the back wall and the other 4" down and 8" from the front wall. This will provide full tank flow, especially if used in short pulse mode to create a wave or in long pulse mode to create a gyre.
