how much do you add of MicroBacter7?

started vodka today looking does anybody add bightwells MicroBacter7 to there tank?
my tank is 100 net gallons how much MicroBacter7 do i add every day?

I just finished the first of the two week seeding of MB7. The directions stated to add one capful per 25 US gallons for the first two weeks. Keep in mind the amount of rock you have and subtract that from your 100 gallon tank. I figured on the conservative side and dose six capfulls daily for my approx. 350gallon system, of course I minus the rock volume.

Add the MB7 for two weeks and then start up the vodka. Two weeks of dosing should give your system ample time to seed with bacteria.

Think of the Microbacter7 as the bacteria and the vodka as the the food for the bacteria. You grow a massave amount of beneficial bacteria that eats nutients and DOC's. As you feed with a carbon source such as vodka (and nutients) some bacteria start to die off as they start to outcompete each other for food. You then export the excess bacteria by skimming and water changes.

You buy the puppy, you feed the puppy, you then scoop up puppy poo .

Yes, the first two weeks of MB7 should be done without Vodka dosing.
