How Much Flow is too Much?

Thanks for the posts guys, keep them coming! I've moved around some things and changed up the flow pattern a little bit, I have 2 of the pumps on else mode and one on wave mode, by polyp motion on the millis, the flow seems very chaotic. I did take a few videos, I'll combine them tonight and post it here.

Thin branches are a sign of low flow, not high flow. From a volume stand point the more the better. It is the velocity that can be troublesome. To much velocity and you can damage the coral tissues. I run about 60x in my tank and feel I could use a little more.

I'm all about overkill. I love flow and I believe sps love it as well, especially milles!

In my 30 gallon I had mp10, wp25, 2 koralias, and 2 hob filters.

In my new 100 I had 3 mp40s, I sent a dry side in for repair and added 2 tunzes, now it's 3 mp40s and 2 tunzes 6095 on pulse! Crazy flow. Overkill, totally unnecessary but I love it lol!
