How much flow?

Well, my husband has agreed to a second tank. I'm probably going to have either LTAs or BTAs (eventually). Since I am starting this tank from scratch I want to get all of my equipment first. The tank wll be either a 75 gallon or a 55 gallon. Now the question is, what size powerheads? Or maybe I should ask what the gph should be for the flow?

Also, do LTAs and BTAs appreciate the same amount of flow? They would not be in the tank together. I just haven't decided which to get!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Just a note: We may end up with a couple of corals or clams in the tank as well, but the main focus would be the anemones.

Well, I have a 30 gallon with TWO 400 BIO WHEELS and TWO 150 GPH POWERHEADS in it. I have it arranged so when one powerhead is shooting up and sweeping to the right the other is shooting down and sweeping to the left. I have a lot of current going. But, I don't have any anemones anymore.

Thanks, I read somewhere where the recommended flow was something like 60 X the tank volume; but I don't know if that's accurate and if it's for SPS only or just what.

I've also read that certain types of anemones need "moderate flow". Since I'm pretty new I'm not sure how "moderate flow" translates into gph.

I want to make sure the anemones are happy. But so far I really haven't found anything specific as to just how much flow they need.
