How much longer!!!for a 6000 and magnet

How long until I will be able to get a Tunze 6000 and Magnet. I placed my order thru Marine Depot in December for one of these fine units.
I am sure the wait is worth it, but I'm wondering if they will be available in the near future or is Tunze having major production issues?
 
It shouldn't be much longer, it is a seasonal issue. Every winter this happens because the demand increases greatly and everything sells out. Here, at the dealers and at the factory- all the shelves are bare. Then they close for the Christmas/ New Year Holiday for 2 weeks. To go from nothing and a huge backorder list to caught up, just takes some time. I expect to be caught up around the first week of March. I would expect your order will probably be filled in a couple weeks at the latest. FWIW, this happens again when they take summer vacation in August, even though the factory doesn't close the skeleton crew results in another shortage.

In general it is a bad idea to jump ship on an order, it happens all the time, people cancel at one place and then find everyone else is backordered and they are at the end of the line again. Everyone will get caught up very soon.
 
Just wanted to drop in on this. Just spoke with and ordered my steam kit 7095 and 2 6000's from Tony at reefexotics, great guy! Shipped today will have tomorrow. you may want to try him.
 
I just called MD as well and I ordered mine in December with the controller and 2-6000. The controller arrived at my door in December. I was told today by MD that it will be late March before I might get the 2-6000. What a teaser having the controller in hand, :D Its ok, patience is what this hobby is all about.
 
Enough pumps to cover just about every backorder should arrive next week, Marine Depot is just trying to play it safe and not get anyones hopes up. Unfortunately, it is not so easy for me, I am at the mercy of a manufacturer, who is also at the mercy of parts suppliers and anything from customs to shipping delays can add further aggravation.
 
Yep, I totally agree with you. I'm in manufacturing in the U.S. and we import some products from overseas. We are also at there mercy of the manufactureres overseas and then we are at the mercy of customs, which can delayshipments up to 10 days.

We also import from Germany, they sure do vacation alot. We need more vacation days in the US!!!:D

All work and no play makes Reefmutts a dull boy.....

i just received my 7095 controller, 2 6000's 2 magnet holders a and a cleaning magnet. now the fun part hooking them up and incorporating them with my wavebox.
 
JER-Z, when did you place your order with MD? I'm wondering how close I am to you in MD's backorder line.
