how much of a meltdown can a ric handle ?

my mailman delivered my package to the wrong house so i believe it spent a night outside waiting to be picked back up. i have a ric that has melted to the piont of bumps falling of it.

will it eventually grow back as long as a small piece survives on the rock??

Really hard to say. Sounds grim and depends upon how cold it got whether I would even think you had a chance or not. Nobody really can tell you for certain. Your going to be telling us.

i'm going through the same thing...sort of. had a few rics on a piece of LR that i purchased. a few were in tact and are doing fine but a couple are half melted half okay/bleached.

im just keeping mine in there b/c i used to cut mine in quarters to propagate them, so hopefully this will grow back from a section also.

i've noticed that in the past few days the color is coming back a bit. hopefully our rics will pull through.

Most mushrooms are pretty hardy, but rics/yumas are one of the less hardy, but if they are not a total loss they might surprise you.

eric thats what i was wondering but i am still holding hope for it .the other items i got with it that looked better at 1st are now worse one piece desintergrated when i tried to move it and my zoos are disapearing 1by 1 so i hope i a least end up with what would be a 30 $ ric
