How often is too often?

Some people give their anemones a little bit every day when they feed their fish. However, I would say that it would be best to feed no more than every other day because it usually takes them a day to poop out what they can't use. That said, in a healthy tank with plenty of light, feeding should not be necessary at all.

It varies with the health of the anemone and the temperature of the system. My anemones digest meals in as little as 12 hours. At times I feed every day. Others, I feed every few days.

I just plan on feeding as a supplement more so because I lie watching it eat and I enjoy every few days feeding all of my lps so I figured the anemone should be fed as well.

I personally don't target feed my nem's. I let whatever food I feed to the tank fall on them (if any does at all). My RBTA's and my Sebae are both healthy and happy as can be

I let my RBTA catch what it can when I feed the tank...and my clowns feed it for me whenever possible (this was not always the case). With that said, I target feed it once a month or so randomly when during one of my spot feeding coral sessions.

Roll Green Wave!

In the past I fed my RBTA 1/4 of a shredded table shrimp once a week with great growth. Once it reached a large size I stopped feeding it completely. After about 2 1/2 years of growing, it got so massive it finally split.
