How often should they molt?

How often should a mantis be molting?? I've had mine for about a month now and it still hasn't molted. I feed it every other day and it seems to be in good shape. What can be wrong?

It all depends on species, size, and reproductive condition. Small juveniles can molt every two weeks, larvae even faster. However, if you are talking about an adult gonodactyloid (gonodactylid or Odontodactylid, every three or four months is average. However, it can be longer. I have an adult O. havanensis that just molted today for the first time since I captured it last July.

Thanks Roy,

Well, I'm still waiting for my Mantis to molt. I tried to induce a molt with a heavy feeding (like shrimp do) but no success. I want him to molt in hopes that his color will show more after his molt.
