How rare is this?

Just read this entire thread and to be honest i am sad im at the end. lol. Great Pix thanks for sharing even tho you have heard this a million times

I can only hope to be surrounded by those things whew...
 
Seems like these corals, fish and inverts are thriving in what looks like detritus. Makes you wonder if our tanks are to clean..

Will see how we go. Good tides have been during work hours so waiting for the weekend tides to get better.
 
WOW!! incredible! I live near the coast in Florida and although we have beautiful sand and beaches we don't get the tropical fish like that. Mother nature is AWESOME!
 
Man, I wish FLorida had crazy tidal pools like that. I've found some cools tuff but not anywhere near as consistently as that. I want to see more pictures :(
 
Wow man can I come on your next trip haha! ive never come and looked at the reefs like that I live in tassie but would fly up for fun! :)

Were you able to keep the octopus or did you release? I have heard they are very difficult to keep.
