How readily available are parts

I picked up a slightly used BK SM 250 with red dragon II controllable pump from a 300+ gal system I purchased almost a year ago. I have not had the system set back up yet, so the skimmer has been cleaned and repacked in it's box for now. I am just wondering when I get it back out, if something is not working, how easy is it to get replacement parts? The skimmer was purchased new by original owner in June 2009, I got it in March 2010.
I also read somewhere on the internet that there was a recall on RD II pumps, would this be one of the pumps that fell under the recall? Thank you for any info you could offer.

Hi,

We are the only reseller in the US that actually stocks parts for BK skimmers. If there is anything you need just let us know. If for some reason we do not have it in stock we can get it to you very quickly via dropship.

As far as the RDII's go there was a soft recall, meaning that issues were taken care of as problems arise, rather than just recalling the entire batch of them.

Thanks,
Jeremy
