how so do i feed

so how soon should i feed my carpet nem?
its day 2 on the tank. i dropped some flake in there for the fisheys and one of them stuck to the carpet. i think thats a good sign. he wasnt so sticky before.

should i try giving him a lancefish?

or a 1/4 of an inch of a lance fish?
i tried feeding him yesterday. ( placing a piece of the fish in his mouth ) or should i place it on his tenticles.

and more importantly.. when should i expect a .. bowel movement / vomit session? and should i clean it out or let the crabs get to it?

How'd you do it? Did you feed the smaller piece?

Personally I'd drop the food onto the tentacles, it seems like it would be much cooler to see them bring the food to their mouths and eat it.

i pretty much handed it to him. i chop the fish as follows
cut the head and the tail off
than cut the remaining piece in half.
feed the head to the peppermint shrimp and the tail to the cleaner so they leave the carpet alone as it eats.

just hand it to the nem on one of the saddles. it lifts it up and eats it.
i just read a thread where somones green carpet ate a WHOLE blue powder tang.. i was like wow..
