How tall is your hood? What's a good height hood wise?

My hood is about 9 inches high. I have 2 x 150w MH in the hood with 2 fans blowing air out. The temp. goes up 1-2 degrees with this configuration.

I am in the process of building my canopy,it will 14'' tall. There will be 4 250 watt mhs, and 8 54 watt t5s in it.It will be open in the back,along with 2 4'' fans to help keep it cool.

IF, and I stress the term IF, I ever get my canopy finished it will be around 24" tall to house 3 lumen bright reflecters I bought back in Nov of last year.

Just built mine 18" to house 3-250mh and 2 140watt vho actinics on an aluminium light rack. Its got 4-3" computer fans along the back.

Mine is short too, only about 9-10" I have a fixture though, with uv shields. Also have 2 4" Vantec Stealth computer fans blowing in it.

my hood is tall! We got lil chris, pookie ray ray, pookie, turtle, tiger, slam, slim thug...boo BEAR we deep LOL
