How to degas C02

My well water burns through my di like wildfire. Without buying a test kit im certain that i have high C02. What is the easiest way to degas RO and then run it through my DI. Good thing im only making water for a 30g tank ha. I hate to even have to do this but my expense in DI resin would be just as high as my salt.

Just pump it into 1 barrel, run a powerhead pointed towards the surface in it to agitate it well, then pump it through the ro/di. I wold expect it to off gas fairly quickly, but I'd let it go a day or so.

I have the same issue. I fill a 55 gallon with only RO water, run an air stone in it for a week (probably overkill, but it can't hurt) then using a MJ 1200 I run it through 2 DI chambers. I put a valve on the output side as you want the water to run through the DI slowly. I run it a little slower than if it was still connected to the RO unit.

Ok so this seems fairly simple, i should beable to handle this lol. I was under the impression that this would be complicated.

So i use water directly out of my faucet, agitate it in a container, than pump it through my ro/di unit? I just recently purchased a booster pump, will that help any?

No, what you want to do is run you RODI unit as before, but unhook the tube the comes out of the RO section and runs into the DI section from the DI section and run the water into the holding/degassing tank. Then from there pump it with the power head into the DI section as I explained. Basically you need to degas the water after the RO and before it runs into the DI.
Hope that makes sense.

I have to degas mine as well, I fill a 125g container with RO water, and I have an airstone in there that runs 24/7. I added some Tees and ball valves to the booster pump so I draw water from the barrel and feed it thru the DI carts.
