How to get clowns to host an anenome

I have had two snowflake clowns that never hosted an anenome, I tried buying different anenomes and nothing, I know there are some techniques to do this, was just curious if anyone had any ideas?
 
Check out the stickie on which anemones are natural hosts for which clowns. Keep in mind, though, that many of the natural host anemones are not easy to keep and not a good idea for a new tank or for somebody relatively new to the hobby. An anemone like a bubble tip, for example, is easier to keep but it's 50:50 as whether clowns will view it as an acceptable host. I've got one right now that is hosting clowns, but I've had plenty of others that did not. FWIW, see pet peeve below :), anemones host clowns, clowns do not host anemones.
 
I been running tank for about a year two different anenome one green bubble tip one Rbta, what would be a good anemone for snowflake clowns
 
Pray? Lol.. my gbta and rbta didnt not host my snowflakes. They are being hosted by the corner of my glass tank
 
You could always try a couple large heads of euphyllia. Definitely a possability they will ignore it, but once the euphyllia is flowing around, Ive seen clowns host in it just like it was an anenome. And if they dont, euphyllia is still pretty great and easy to care for. It is aggressive though, but an anenom is...well..
 
Could be coincidental, but I tried taping a couple of photos of percs in rbtas to the outside of my tank for a couple who didn't know what to do with a nem and within a week, after waiting a year, my percs went right to the nem. Monkey sees monkey does, evidently.
 
Capture the clowns and put them in a confined space with the anemone and slowly herd the clowns into the anemone, little by little, so they get a taste of what it's like, does the trick every time

great way of hurting the clowns this way, never force a clown into an anemone
 
If you put the clownfish in a heated and aerated buck with the anemone,they should eventually go into it.If you have no luck in the bucket for more than 45 minutes,remove them.

Exactly, a clown doesn't need to be forced. Find his natural host anemone, and leave them alone.

My clowns host every anemone in my tank. I don't force them. It's a natural instinct.
 
I had a pair of snowflake clowns that wouldn't touch my RBTA. I also had a carpet where the Clarke swam right into it.

Don't force it. Give it a few months. If they do not host and you really want that, find a clown that is more prone to hosting your anemone.
 
Give them time.

I have a snowflake and black and white clownfish. The snowflake has never been interested in being hosted by anything other than the corner of my overflow. My black and white finally showed interest in my RTBA after 6 months. Unfortunately my RBTA decided it did not want to host and went for a walk the next day (and eventually into the power head). Lesson learned, be careful what you wish for ha!

My friend gave me another RBTA 2 weeks ago and my black and white got in it right away this time. This nem seems much happier to host and has stayed put so far.
