I bough a pink tip Nem about two weeks ago and my gold stripe clown wont even go near it. How can I make him get closer to it. I tried feeding closer to the anenome but he wont go close to it..
I've had success using a laser pointer, clowns chased it into the nem and never left. I'm assuming "pink tip" means it's a condy-these aren't a natural host for clowns, so it may never host. My maroons loved bta's.
in my 24 nano my gsm took a month to go into the rbta i got for it. i heard of a lazer pointer, or a smalll flashlight works great. what worked for my was i was doing a water change of about 10g and the water was really low and it swam into it and never left it....until i evicted it for a pair of snows. hehe
Post a picture of your anemone before wasting any time on the prospect. A gold stripe maroon is not typically picky about hosting in any suitable anemone.
