How to move an anemone

Just picked up a Green Carpet (Haddoni) yesterday. Looks beautiful -- seems to be acclimating well. Just not happy that it attached itself to the glass, and is facing the inside so I really can't see it well.

From what I've read, it appears as though I should leave it alone so I don't stress it out, especially if it's doing well. But, at any time, can I move it? And, if so, how? The base seems to be well attached to the glass, above and below the sand. It's just ashame that I have a view of the base rather than the open anemone.

Thanks in advance!

I usually advise leaving them alone, but you do want it to settle in a place where you can enjoy it.
Try pointing a powerhead at it's foot to get it to start to release.
Place it close to where it started to stay, but spin it around.

And I'd let it settle in your tank for awhile before even attempting the powerhead thing. It may move on it's own.

If it ever gets stuck somewhere again put a bag of ice on its foot and it should let go in minutes. worked great on mine.

Wouldn't the ice be pretty stressful for the anemone? I thought they were really sensitive to temperature changes?

Also I've read in a few places that when it's on a smooth surface you can carefully "scrape" the anemone off with your thumbnail or even a credit card or something, though the powerhead technique sounds like the safest and best bet.
