How to post a pic using a free service such as Photobucket

Thank you very much AJP for your informative tutorial, as now I am able to post my pictures. You have truly helped at least one member whom was having problems in this area, so keep up the good work, and thanx again fellow reefer.... 8-)

It seems that Photobucket automatically resizes all my photos to around 500x380. Is it b/c of my original photos? I can't seem to get it any larger. Thanks for any help. Here is an example. How do I get it to around 800x600?

Photobucket reduces your image size to 250kb or less. If you first resize them prior to uploading you can probably stay under the 250kb
 
Nice tank pics all - I'm just getting into it...hence my photo - this is my first attempt at posting a picture as well. Thanks for creating this thread!
