How to program timer to run for less then one minute?

I'm struggling a bit trying to get something working. I have a socket I need to turn on for approximately 10 seconds but if I configure a timer event for less then one minute it fails complaining of a timer overlap.

I'm attempting to configure an Aqualifter to act as a dosing pump, so all I need is a simple on/off function.

Any ideas?

set mode to "dose" - then you have seconds resolution
