How to store salt properly?

I buy the hw-marinemix reefer salt, and just cut the top of the bag open and then roll the bag up and put a clip on it. Sometimes moisture gets into the salt making it bad and wont disolve in the water when normally this salt disolves in minutes. Im wondering if you guys have some ideas for a better way for me to store my salt?

A sealable containter that prevents moisture as you stated. A tote should work. Put it in a cool dry place like a garage.

I usually just twist the bag up tight and then fold it over. A rubber band is used to secure it. So far so good and it takes me months to go through a 50 gallon bag.

you can get a food grade 5 gal bucket from lowe's or home depot with a rubber gasket in the lid that's air tight. they're cheap...

I bought one pail to just have the sealed lid. Now I use the 200G boxes and put 2 bags in a pail and seal the lid between uses.

I use a 5 gallon bucket, but I replaced the original lid with one of these:

it's got two pieces: an adaptor ring that attaches to the bucket like a normal lid, as well as an actual lid that screws onto the adaptor.

It's a lot easier and quicker to screw off and on the lid than it is to use the standard lid that almost needs a mallet to pound it back on. Plus, it ensures a water- and air-tight seal when fully screwed on.

My mentality was always to buy either the Instant Ocean buckets that hammer set or only by salt in the quantity I am going to mix at any given time
