Hi all !!!!

Well got part 2 last Friday..... There was so much stuff in part 2 we didnt know what to do with it all !!! We even had to leave out one of the rocks cause we didnt know where to put it. So we wound up giving that one to a friend who was interested in the TBS rock....

This is how we currently have it set up.

If you look close you can pick out the decorator crab on the right



I think this is what is causing the ammonia to rise everyday... Been doing my water changes everyday keeping it down to .75 ppm to 1 ppm. Im going to take it out today and give it the smell test.

Oh I dont have any pics of the 2 shrimp that I got with the 2nd part cause the next morning after installing it we woke up to find that the Condy Anemone had killed them and the were attached under him....

Just pull the rock out and if it smells bad just scrape it off. The multicolored rock encrusted sponges dont last long. I just scraped them when I got the rock as I didnt want to keep redoing my aquascape.

Yup I would ditch that rock.....or clean it real well. that is die off....and in a 12 gallon tank.....not a good thing!

I took it out .... at first it didnt smell to bad.... but after being out for about 30 seconds.... definitely bad.... scrapped it off like I did the other
rock in part 1...... the rock that had that in part 1 was actually having new growth when part 2 arrived.

Good job...you can tell from the way the tank looks, you are an A+ reef keeper.......really nice looking nano...and not easy to do!

The purple thing isn't a plants, it looks like a non photosynthestic gorgonian coral, hard to keep needs lots of regular feeding. I'm not sure whats going on with the "shedding" though, just thought I'd give you an I.D.

You mean the fuzziness on the purple gorgonian? If that's the case, it's feeding.

thats not a nudibranch it is a Halitotis (Abalone) Reef Safe and an Herbivore. They are good.

Don't know what that is, but I'm glad you are at least asking about it before deciding to flush it! Whatever it is, it looks really interesting and I would take it off your hands in an instant.

tank looks great signal! looks like richard really out did himself, that slipper lobster is soo cool. as long as you are regulary feeding your tank your gorgonians will be fine. i feed my tank usually 3 times a week so mine are still doing great. I Might have to place another order so i can get me some more.:lol: maybe it is time for me to get me a nano because pics like yours really make it look worth it.
